January seems much too early to even think about this but schools are sending out applications, what is this college? Today On Stay at Home Dads I talk about my stint as a solo parent to my two girls while my wife was away. Don't worry, it wants as bad as it sounds, I'm just lucky my kids are not babies anymore! I get into picking up all the house and parenting duties my wife does as well as my own. I also talk about how I stayed calm and sane during this time, hint, you gotta play with your kids! It was quite the learning experience but wow I'm glad those two weeks are over!

In todays episode I wanted to dive into a subject that I really know nothing about but a story with my daughter got me thinking about it, and that's anxiety and nervousness in kids. What do we do when our kids experience these things? Hell I have no idea so I figured I would do some research and tell you about it. Just go to sleep!!! Yes today I get into good sleep habits for our kids and even a few for the adults as well. Sleep is something that is much more important than I think a lot of people realize, I imagine a decent amount of kids are probably suffering from a lack of sleep and I know adults are really lacking in that department. So i just wanted to go over a few tips and ideas that will hopefully help you and your kids sleep better and be happier. Remember, I am no doctor so sometimes I don't know what I'm talking about!

Trips trips trips! My wife and I just got back from Miami and boy that was a great trip! We left the kids behind to recharge the ol' battery, leave our worries behind for a weekend and really just relax. So I figured I would talk about taking adult vacations and how important they are for your relationships in this episode.
