Random Thoughts: Special Spousal Moments and Kids Sports Conundrum. |EP154|

|EP154|   Today on Stay At Home Dads Podcast I go completely off script and talk about a few random, non related topics that have been going on in my life lately.  First off I mention party planning for my wife's 40th birthday party.  I talk about the level of stress involved in undertaking such a task and how easy it would have been to just go on line and book a trip but also how I believe it's important to do something special for your spouse.  I also talk about the importance of showing up for your spouse on special occasions whether it be birthdays, anniversaries, or any moment really where we should do something special for them to show them what they meat to us.  The second random topic I embark on is kids sports.  I talk about my daughter's experience playing sports, her struggles, and what I think the next steps should be when things don't work out.  I also ask a bunch of questions  that I hope you can help me answer;  Why are sports so important?  Why do parents seem to emphasize them so much?  How do we pivot when kids come home crushed?  I will follow up on this topic on the next episode as I have more to say.  Thank you so much for listening, if you want to respond to my questions today or have any other questions or comments, please reach me at the links below!
